Our History & Evolution
Our journey began in 2014 with the launch of Murphree Restoration Services. As we grew, we recognized a critical need for specialized expertise in the systems that most impact property integrity: plumbing and septic.
To better serve our clients with a comprehensive approach to property maintenance, we expanded our operations:
• 2017: Established RooterMan Northeast Kansas, bringing elite plumbing and drain cleaning solutions to our neighbors.
• 2019: Acquired Downing Septic Tank Cleaning, integrating decades of specialized septic knowledge into our suite of services.

Meet the Murphree Family
We believe that professional service is personal. Our leadership team combines decades of field experience with modern construction management to deliver unmatched results.
• Jerry Murphree Jr. (Founder/Owner): A Master Plumber holding licenses across multiple jurisdictions, Jerry provides the technical oversight and veteran expertise that ensures every job is done right the first time.
• Petrina Murphree (Office Operations): Petrina manages our full-time office operations, ensuring seamless communication and the exceptional customer service our clients have come to expect.
• Joshua Murphree (General Contractor): A 2026 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Science and Management, Joshua joined the family business full-time to bring modern project management and licensed general contracting skills to our expanding operations.

Recently, we’ve been proud to sponsor Tallmadge High School and the Youngstown State University baseball team, continuing our commitment to supporting youth and college athletics.
